1 Function, applicable scope and performance characteristics:
Safety oil tank is used to temporarily store miscella outflow from extractor.
It is suitable for storing liquid and solid materials without corrosive medium of oils and fats, chemical industry, pharmaceutical, food industries and etc.
Performance characteristics: advanced structure, easy installation, low failure rate.
2 Operating principle and main structure:
Operating principle: under normal production status, the level of miscella in tank shall be lower than safety oil level. When evaporation system and extractor can`t be able to work normally, or system leak occurs, the device can store a certain amount of miscella to play a role of buffering system, so as to avoid the phenomenon of reversing flow of the miscella in the extractor, if this phenomenon occurs, the solvent will enter into the meal scraper which can give rise to high content of residual oil in meal, or formation of system risk.
Safety oil tank mainly consists of barrel, head,manhole, liquidometer, support bracket, flange tube and etc.
3 Equipment Installation:
The equipment shall be installed according to the size of equipment foundation manufactured in a location designated by the process equipment layout. According to the technical requirement, the equipment shall be placed in the foundation designated by the equipment during installation.
4 Debugging and commissioning of equipment:
1. After installation is completed, check whether the connections between vessel and nozzles are in compliance with the requirements of process design, and then clean up the inside of the equipment to ensure that there are no foreign matters inside the equipment.
2.After completion of pipe connection prior to normal production, it is necessary to perform water leakage test under atmospheric pressure for the tank to ensure that no leakage, and then it can be put into production.
5 Operation and safety regulations:
1. Adjust oil inlet valve to control the speed of the miscella flow velocity, adjust the oil outlet valve to control the speed of the miscella flow velocity. The level of miscella in tank can`t exceed the safety oil level.
2. See solid sundries content of miscalla, sediments in tank shall be frequently cleaned in order to avoid clogging up the pipeline and oil pump.
3.Regularly inspect the interfaces of the liquidometer and flanges, to ensure that there is no leakage phenomenon during production.
6 Transportation, hoisting and custody rules:
1.Each nozzle shall be properly covered by blind plates in the process of transportation and custody to prevent foreign matter from entering into the inside of the tank.
2. The tank shall be stored in open-air condition, covered with tarpaulins to avoid finish paint off and corrosion caused by rain and sun.
3. Use nude transportation for the whole equipment which shall be hoisted and handled softly.
